Change Lanes: Emerge Summit 2018

16 March 2018

The Emerge Summit returned last week to Sacramento with a full day of inspirational speeches, educational breakout sessions and opportunities to mix and mingle with young professionals.

Spearheaded by Metro EDGE with support from the Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation, the Emerge Summit is a collaborative effort of 19 organizations committed to advocating and supporting young professionals and their growth in the community.

Honey led one of the morning break out sessions and we loved the challenge of taking it to the #nextlevel.

Our panel’s breakout encouraged session guests to CHANGE LANES. The eclectic panel of Ashley Rodseth, Creative Director, Maggie Giordanengo, Account Director, and Josh Reeder-Esparza, Developer and moderated by DJ Waldow, an infectious copywriter, shared Honey’s approach collaboration and the tools we use to discover strengths and weaknesses to ensure you get out of your lane to better your company, projects, and self.

We wanted to take our approach with clients and provide SWOT tools for each guest as homework. Thinking about how their strengths can be amplified in job interviews and/or their current work environment and on the flip side to be honest about weaknesses. Collaborating with folks that fill the gaps empowers and fuels productivity and passion.

Huge thank you to the partners that brought the experience next level, Design Shop Interiors for stage design and styling, Bogle Vineyards for our morning sips, and Goldfield for hosting!
